Mayo is a New York-based designer and strategist interested in the intersections and interplay between industrial design, service thinking, and interaction design, and in developing solutions across these disciplines to leave the world in better shape than he found it.
He currently works at ReD Associates, and was previously principal designer at Urbanscale, both in New York, and is a graduate of the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, Brunel University, and the United World Colleges. His work has been featured in Wired magazine and exhibited at Milan's Salone Internazionale del Mobile and New York's Museum of Modern Art. Originally from London, he has lived and worked in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Finland, and Denmark.
He likes big cities, hard questions, and shades of grey.
