Mayo is a New York-based designer interested in the intersections and interplay between research, service thinking, and interaction design, and in creating strategies and solutions to leave the world in better shape than he found it.
He currently works as an associate creative director at frog design, and was previously principal designer at Urbanscale and a consultant at ReD Associates and Radarstation. He is a graduate of the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design, Brunel University, and the United World Colleges. His work has been featured in Wired magazine and exhibited at Milan's Salone Internazionale del Mobile and New York's Museum of Modern Art. Originally from London, he has lived and worked in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Finland, and Denmark.
He likes big cities, hard questions, and shades of black.
