Tomorrow I start a two week placement at IDEO’s London office.

I was as surprised as anyone when I opened the envelope and found that the letter wasnt a generic ‘thanks but no thanks’ letter, but offering a two week period at their offices off Clerkenwell Road. So, here I am – excited as a little kid, intruiged as to what I will find at this most successful and mysterious of design companies.It’s not often you get to read a book and think how cool it would be to work there, and then to get (an albeit short) experience of doing just that.
